The True Rune Project is just that: a project on True Runes. Headed by myself, Alkazar, we intend to do total research about the True Runes and figure out just who has what, what all runes exist, and exactly what their powers are.
We will start with the five Elemental True Runes: Wind, Earth, Water, Lightning, and Fire. Afterwards, we'll move on to the Runes that are related to the Tarots, starting with the main runes of the first Suikoden game and moving forward.
The True Wind Rune
Current Holder: Luc
Previous Holders: Unknown
History: Not much is known about the origin of this rune, nor how it came into Luc's possession. All that is really known is that Luc has used it in both the Gate Rune War and the Dunan Unification War. During the Gate Rune War, only Luc and Leknaat seemed to understand that it was a True Rune, but during the Dunan Unification War, Luc used its true powers against Sasarai and his troops, blowing them away.
Powers: This rune has a power that seem to be standard to most True Runes: teleportation. Luc uses this many times, and also uses many different powers of it during the Dunan Unification War. It also possesses the power to blow away hundreds, if not thousands, at a time. It is speculated that this rune can summon monsters, as Luc seemingly did on Magician's Island, but it has never been proven that the rune can do such.
The True Earth Rune
Current Holder: Sasarai
Previous Holders: Unknown
History: It's not clearly stated how Sasarai obtained this rune, merely that he has possessed it for some time. The only time that the rune has ever been seen on the field of battle is when Sasarai was sent as a General from Harmonia to Highland. During a battle near South Window, after his forces were blown away by Luc's True Wind Rune, Sasarai used the True Earth Rune to teleport away.
Powers: The True Earth Runes only confirmed power is the ability to teleport.
